He has the most scientific, methodical, approach of teaching and his ability to explain the intricacies of Indian Classical Music helps a student to blossom under his guidance. Samyukta Ranganathan, my student at Suromurchhana US has been selected as one of the three finalists in 2021 The Rising Stars -an Indian Classical Vocal Music competition organized by IAPA ( New Jersey) for talented vocalists from different music schools in USA.

Sumoulika Sarkar secured first place in the vocal category in the 5th annual competition on Indian Classical Music, organized by Sutanuti Parishad, Chorebagan Anchal & Anindya Mitra Musical Trust. Sumoulika will be performing in their Annual Concert on 29th January, 2022.
